The Nomad House, a beautiful Grass Valley, California vacation rental home, was built in 1982 on 60 acres of the hillside property above the south fork of the Yuba River in northern California's historic Mother Lode gold country.Please scroll down to check the availability before contacting the Owner.Suitable for nine guests, our 3 bedroom rental home in Grass Valley hosts two king beds, a split king bed and three twin beds. It features a private swimming pool and a redwood hot tub. The large outdoor deck offers a view of Lake Engelbright, which is fed by the Yuba. This house comes with a fully stocked kitchen to accommodate your culinary desires, and you can always use the outdoor gas grill to enjoy sizzling cookouts.We have DVD, VCR, CD/stereo and broad-band Internet access at our child friendly Grass Valley home. In addition, there is a wood stove to keep you warm on chilly days.There's a plethora of exciting recreation opportunities in the area including the beaches and the waters of the nearby Yuba River. Bridgeport is also a wonderful spot for river swimming and sunbathing. We provide horses for riding along the roads and trails in the immediate vicinity. During the winter season, you can enjoy cross-country and downhill skiing, which are available within an hour's drive from our Grass Valley home near golf course.You would be delighted to visit the shops and restaurants, wonderful Victorian houses, historic buildings, and a good local Saturday farmers' market at the county fairgrounds just outside of Grass Valley.For more enjoyment, you can schedule your stay at this Grass Valley home rental to coincide with the county fair in August, the Draft Horse Classic, held in September and the highly professional "Music in the Mountains" classical music festival in four seasons.
